Like I said: it's Time To Dance. OK, it's time to quit thinking about it! Jou ken dooo eeeet!!! (from the movie: The Waterboy, get it?). And, Michael Stephens is a great way to get you dancing West Coast Swing, Jitterbug, Night Club, and Country & Western (Two-Step, Polka, Waltz, and Cha-Cha). Whether teaching dance in Clear Lake at Shall We Dance, or in Houston at The Dance Place, and Melody Club (on Sundays or with Southwest Whip Club on Wednesdays). I have been dancing since drums were made out of tree trunks. Okay, maybe not that long. But I have been dancing since high school. Although, like you, I really didn’t get started learning until later. So, I also suffer from the terrible IWIHSDAEAHS (I Wish I Had Started Dancing As Early As Him/Her Syndrome). None the less, I have been dancing for over 20 years and teaching for over 15. But what about the important stuff: how are the classes? Fun; really, really fun. We have very friendly people in these classes. Whether you’re learning West Coast Swing, Country & Western, slow or dirty dancing, Jitterbug, Merengue, Salsa, Waltz, or Cha-cha, the classes are fun, fun, fun. Whether the classes are in Clear Lake or Houston, whether the classes are group lessons or private lessons, we make them fun. Like I said, we have great people in our classes.

LoneStar Invitational | August 15-17, 2008
This wonderful Country & Western Austin event has West Coast Swing Dancing on Friday and Saturday evenings. They also have West Coast Swing workshops (I’ll be teaching one or two) on Saturday. Be there by 7:00 p.m. if you want to dance in the Jack and Jill. Otherwise just arrive for the fun afterwards.
